Mike Zsenyuk and his wife Dorothy, of Saline, MI teamed up with the Dead Stream Guide Service to take an awesome cow Elk within the first 2 hours of the winter season. The team had spotted a group of cows and bulls and after a 400 yard stalk made their way to a ridge where Mike put a great shot on the big cow at 200 yards. Congratulations to Mike and Dorothy on an awesome hunt!
Being early enough in the hunt, Mike was able to get his cow elk to the Atlanta elk pole and was not only the first cow elk, but also the first elk of the season!
